AD1988 COMME des GARCONS HOMME ウール ギャバジンスラックスです。
非常に希少な川久保玲氏がデザイナーを務めていた頃の80年代アーカイブ。
田中オムは基本決まった形のツータックスラックスが主ですが、川久保オムは様々な独自性のあるデザインがあります。
やや間隔狭めのツータックにベルトループが連なるデザイン。
ダークトーンの印象が強いブランドですが、こちらは珍しいライトベージュカラー。
生地はやや厚みのある高密度に織り込まれたウールギャバジン生地。
程よい艶感、すとんと落ちるドレープ感、非常に品格の伺える質感。
希少性、デザイン性共に優れたスペシャルピースです。
AD1988 COMME des GARÇONS HOMME Wool Gabardine Slacks
Rare 1980s archive piece from the Rei Kawakubo era.
In the Keiichi Tanaka period, HOMME followed a fixed standard shape, with two-tuck slacks as its staple form.
By contrast, Kawakubo’s HOMME offered a variety of original designs.
This pair features two pleats set closer together, with belt loops placed in similarly narrow intervals.
Uncommon light beige despite the brand’s darker palette.
Crafted from densely woven wool gabardine with a slightly heavier weight.
Subtle sheen and a clean, straight drape that conveys refinement.
A special piece, notable for both rarity and design.
