1990〜2003年、COMME des GARÇON HOMMEのデザインを手がけた田中啓一氏のプロダクト、通称 “田中オム”です。
ベージュ×ホワイトの細かな千鳥格子。
胸元のラインは生地の切り替えしではありません。
無地に見えるライン部分も同じ千鳥格子が薄く入ります。
田中オム特有な空気を纏うような、柔らかなゆとりのあるシルエット。
誰もが実感できる程良いゆとりとジャストなサイズバランスの共存。
なぜか多くの人に“妙にしっくりくる”と感じさせる”完成されたシルエット”。
時代を感じさせず、現代のファッションにハマるだけではなく、今後も不動であり普遍的な服としてあり続けるのだと、そう実感させてくれる服です。
From 1990 to 2003, Keiichi Tanaka designed for COMME des GARÇONS HOMME, producing what is now affectionately known as “Tanaka Homme.”
This piece features a fine beige-and-white houndstooth pattern. The line across the chest is not a fabric switch—rather, the same houndstooth continues subtly, creating the appearance of a solid stripe.
The soft, relaxed silhouette embodies the distinctive Tanaka Homme aesthetic, striking a perfect balance between comfortable ease and precise proportions. The result is a “just-right” fit that feels naturally familiar to many wearers.
